New Zealand PM English meets CKI execs Victor Li, Kam Hing-lam

New Zealand Prime Minister, Bill English, called over at Cheung Kong Center today where he met Victor Li, chairman of CK Infrastructure and CK Life Sciences, and Kam Hing-lam, group managing director of CK Infrastructure, and president and chief executive Officer.
English was accompanied by Gabrielle Rush, the New Zealand Consul-General to Hong Kong and Macau.
Since making its first investment in New Zealand in 2008, CK Group’s total investment in New Zealand amounts to around NZ$1.5 billion. CK Group’s business portfolio in New Zealand spans the infrastructure and eco-agriculture sectors. It includes, EnviroNZ, a leading waste management company; Wellington Electricity, Cheetham Salt, Australasia’s largest producer and refiner of salt; and QWIL Investments (NZ) Pty Ltd, the holding company for various vineyard assets in the country. CK Group employs more than 1,000 staff in New Zealand.
