Friday, April 21, 2017

The French capital's  Champs Élysées  boulevard has reopened and picking up its usual early morning routine today after a gunman opened fire on police, killing one officer and wounding three people before police shot and killed him.
Municipal workers in white hygiene suits washed down the sidewalk where Thursday night's attack took place. Delivery trucks were making their rounds. Traffic was going up and down the famous tree-lined street and police barriers have been taken down.
