Tiffany Chan Tsz-ching's incredible journey is set to get more interesting when she lines up alongside a star-studded field featuring the world's top 10 golfers at the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore.

Having represented Hong Kong at the Rio Olympics in 2016, Chan, 24, last year became the first golfer from the SAR to qualify for the LPGA Tour. Her historical debut was at last month's Bahamas Classic, where she made the cut despite difficult conditions. Now she's heading to Singapore on a sponsor invite for the March 1-4 event, regarded as "Asia's Major," at the Sentosa Golf Club.

"This just keeps getting better and better," said Chan, who is teeing off this week at the Australian Open in Adelaide. "It was incredible to represent Hong Kong at the Olympic Games, and then to qualify for the LPGA Tour really was a dream come true."

LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan said: "Tiffany is blazing a trail for Hong Kong golf and it's going to be fascinating tracking her progress."
