From Hollywood Road to Victoria Harbour, dancers will weave through the narrow streets in Central in a "Dance Walk" event organized by the Royal Geographical Society Hong Kong.
Using staircases, footbridges and the world's longest outdoor escalator as a backdrop, the dance will cross between quiet old districts and loud, dense commercial areas.
It will start at Hollywood Road Park in Sheung Wan and pass through Po Hing Fong and Pottinger Street, among others. It will end at the Star Ferry pier on February 24.
The public has been invited to join the festivities, but they will have to fork out HK$500 to watch the transformation of geographical space through dance movements.
Pre-registration will be accepted online.
